The Cambridge-Africa Research Fund for 2022 is presently accepting applications from competent African researchers.

The Cambridge-Africa Research Fund provides grants of up to £20,000 to cover the costs of research and research-related travel between Cambridge and Africa.

The fellowship provides researchers with the opportunity to conduct fresh research at the esteemed Cambridge University.

Scholarship Details:

The Cambridge-Africa ALBORADA Research Fund was set up in 2012, with beneficiant aid from The ALBORADA Trust. The Fund helps pairs of researchers (post-doctoral stage and above) from the University of Cambridge (or an affiliated organization which include the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, NIAB and British Antarctic Survey) and sub-Saharan African institutions, throughout all disciplines, to provoke and/or support studies collaborations.

To date, over 260 awards had been made, to permit Cambridge researchers to have interaction with African colleagues from 31 African countries.
